Our voices need to be heard. The liberals are very loud, and present petitions all the time, no matter how stupid they are. All gun owners have been quiet for far too long. I'm not going to allow them to shame me into closet ownership any longer.

But I'm with you- there are those afraid of "being on a list"... at this point I want to be on the lists- if I'm not pissing somebody on the left off, then I'm not doing enough.
I'll state further that they absolutely want people on the right to over-react and appear to be crazy- so they can then use them as an example "see, all those right-wing gun nuts are the same"
So that is to say, I piss them off when I am calm & collected, but absolutely illustrate how their position doesn't work, is a lie, or otherwise how they are just plain wrong. It pisses them off because they can't just dismiss me as a crazy redneck "clinging to guns and religion"
