That looks more like a rabbit hole, something else went after. Up here they breed like.......rabbits.

The up side is the proliferation of Owls, hawks and eagles sitting in the trees and phone poles in the alleys. Had a nice red tail chowing down on one last week. That cliche Fur was flying. He/ She? was dropping hide like confetti.

Neighbor caught and relocated a skunk without getting sprayed last week, so I hope it is not another one. The rabbits on the east side of Wheat Ridge have increased exponentially since they started developing all the abandoned greenhouse properties and drove all the red fox out of the area. I have I grown up here and do not ever remember seeing a rabbit until last year in this area. I really hope it is a rabbit.
