    Default Scored a NIB Marlin 1895 in 45-70 from Walmart for $263....really!

    Walmart cleared them out, blued with solid walnut stocks for $299 plus tax, I paid $312 and change with tax at the Evergreen store. Then there's a $50 rebate so I'll get $50 back bringing the final price to $263. Can tell you how pleased I am!!!! Now off to Ark for a scope.

    Oh, they are clearing out the Ruger American's as well at $199 for a .243, 308 or .223 but I couldn't find a caliber I wanted, although the Evergreen store had a .243 in stock.

    Very nice. ...none of the Wallys on this side of this metropolis carry firearms anymore. I didn't think any of 'em near the Denver sewer were selling firearms.

    It has a picatany mount but no scope yet. I'm bouncing around a "scout" style scope.

    For the old timers here, I bought the Marlin from Capt Prozak. Still miss Kevin.
