Question for western slope guys......
Are there any ranges on the Western Slope and into Utah that have organized Service Rifle Matches (200, 300, 600 yard across the course)....
Trying to pass along the info to someone that shoots competitively and he may be moving to Grand Junction for a job. He does not want to give up the sport.
Is there a list of ranges on the west side that go out to 600 or 1000 yards.
Stengels Range between Delta and Hotchkiss has Highpower Service Rifle shoots monthly. I haven't been able to shoot there for several years so not sure who is running them now. They have a decent 1000 yard range with rifle pits. It's going to be a 50 minute drive from GJ.

The Orchard Mesa Gun Club holds regular highpower matches. They use reduced 600 yd targets at 200 yards. Max range is 300 yds. for non match shooting.
