Well said. I don't agree with his stance or his way of conveying his stance (or kneelnce?), but I will defend his right to say it. That being said, everyone is free to share their opinion about him and his stance as well.

I was disappointed when I saw him kneeling during the national anthem. He makes more money in a year than I will see in a lifetime of serving the people of this country. How is he oppressed?

They are not saying that they as individuals are oppressed. They are dating that oppression happens and they want it to change and people to talk about it in order to stop it. However none of this will do anything to bring about change because they are not doing it the right way.

There has never been more opportunity for "minorities" anywhere in the world then there is the US right now. If this isn't good enough because we won't give certain people the space to destroy then they should be honest and say that.
