Some credit unions will accept deposits for other credit unions.

By the way, if this recent revelation about Wells Fargo is why you are leaving, well I guess better now than never. But I've been on a rant about Wells Fargo for over a decade. I have come close to suing them for illegal conduct on behalf of my clients many many times.

They are terrible too by most accounts.

Years of their b.s. along with them shorting my mortgage payment and blaming me.

I second this. Have Navy Federal and love them. No charge to withdrawal money from 7-11's. Also with the mobile app- you can deposit checks from it. No need to go into branch.

With the Credit Union Service Centers, no reason not to look at CUs. I have both businesses and all my personal at a Credit Union. I can deposit cash as several other CUs, do electronic banking, electronic bill pay. Not a fan of banks at all.

Just about every single bank offers that. I was never impressed with Navy Fed, their customer service left a lot to be desired.

Every bank - yes. But not every credit union.

Maybe I'm just lucky but I've never had a bad experience with 1stBank. But they're not a national bank...only in a few western states. I still have my 1stBank account even though there are no branches in ID. On Wed I needed to deposit a large cashier's check...almost 4 times the daily limit of $5k for mobile deposits. I called them and the immediate response was, "No problem...I'll just up your daily mobile deposit limit to cover that check. Call any time you need to do that." Handled in a 5 min phone call at 3pm, did the mobile deposit with my phone and funds were available next morning.

I'll second USAA. Never banked with them but have homeowner's and an auto loan. First class and very helpful.
