Unusual Jet Flyover today, Denver
Just wondering if anyone else saw it, a little before noon today. I was around Kipling and Belleview, heard the sound and caught the last of it flying West. Looked like a large plane (KC-135 ish) accompanied by seven smaller jets in a V formation. Couldn't make out what they were, real high.
Anyone have 'connections' to find out what this was?
Going west? A couple of foreign airforce are coming to nevada for some exercises soon.

Practicing approaches at Centennial. They did this a few weeks ago. It's a good little training trip for them out of Tinker.
I think word is out around the armed forces that there are some good eats around the Centennial area. I assume the FBOs there willingly give up the crew car/van to fuel these birds up. This weekend we had Harriers from Yuma visiting. Just in the last month or so we have had F15s, F18s, Ospreys, F16s, and the Top Gun F5s visit. Had a couple A10s from Marrtin State last spring.
I was out there when the a10s were... So wanted to touch. The crews at the FBOs are always chatty about mil jets parked out there.

Good eats around Centennial? Whut/where?
Granted, I'm easily pleased chow-wise, but something worth flying in for?

Perfect Landing, right on top of the FBO. Torchy's just opened near Arapahoe/I25. I have seen many pilots in the Chipotle near the airport. Lots of good Pizzarias and BBQ joints within a mile or two of the airport there. Just saw 2 more Harriers doing some pattern work a little while ago.

Excellent food. Like really good. Five stars if you by FBO standards.
Watching all the planes fly and taxi by makes it that much better.
