You mean just down the road from the Denver Women's Correctional Facility, Denver County Jail, and DRDC?

Yeah that neighborhood is nice....venture a few blocks out of it...not so nice.

Crime happens everywhere. I am always packing or within arms reach when working in my garage.

This is why I carry everywhere... Also for the fact that crime is not segregated to "bad" areas.

Stapleton isn't really that nice, lots of shit neighborhoods surround it as well section 8 housing. Crime exists everywhere, as do naive people. Yeah it sucks a guy is attacked in his own garage but unfortunately I'm not surprised.

Is this really that surprising for any neighborhood in Denver?

The only thing remarkable is the continued ignorance of big shitty thinking/residents who vote for gun control and safety vacuums.

You nailed it. Also my neighborhood in Centennial is pretty damn quiet but in July the deputies caught a guy trying to break in to my neighbor's home during the middle of the day. Thankfully there are other neighbors home during the day, saw somebody that had never been seen before walking around checking out the homes, ringing doorbells. Their dog goes nuts (as does mine) whenever someone approaches or rings the bell/knocks on the door. They're an older couple, didn't answer but kept an eye on him.

It's in the Shitty and County of Denver, so it's not exactly that nice... I live just south of there, and I think we're a lot safer, mostly because the criminal element doesn't shit where they live.
