Well, first off, as in my thread in the CCW forum, DO NOT bring a pistol that is loaded with one in the pipe through TSA. They do not find it amusing and you will receive ridicule for the forseeable future.

Your CPAP machine is medical equipment and you can bring it on the plane. If it is in its own carrying case they can not count it as part of your baggage limit.

I fly almost every week. If I had your flight time I'd be at the security line about 6:15.
