That sucks that she behaved as she did; both to you and the barista. Some people's children should have to pass a test before reproducing.

One rude individual is no cause to denigrate the entire generation.

If you lower your expectations of people they will disappoint you less and surprise and encourage you more. I try to save my higher expectations for myself, my children, and my friends, in that order.
