Yup. I watch politicised sports once every four years - the Olympics. Not gonna watch politicised domestic sports. Perhaps they should start the SJW league. For progressives to watch. As long as it's free, that is.

i always enjoyed watching the broncos and going to a game or two a year. no more. i was excited for the super bowl rematch game, then watched the BLM hack kneel during the anthem. i watched the first half, getting more and more angry--turned it off at half time and haven't looked back.
looks like the press is finally realizing people are fed up with these SJWs

Meh, I like football. There are a lot of things that bother me more than some asshat kneeling during the anthem.

Ive always been partial to rugby. Eighty minutes with only one 10 min break in between halves. Ive seen them keep playing even if someone is hurt. No pads, no do a play, take a break. Its go go go all the time.

Rugby is far more interesting and athletic.

I wouldn't be surprised if this thread turned into a PGA/NHL thread. Buncha cynical fogies in their 30's+ here.

I enjoy the NFL still but I play fantasy football so that holds my interest to it probably more than anything. I just never put any weight on what they say/do like any other celebrity.
The NFL has become a joke as of late, for more reasons than the anthem BS that a few individuals are doing, but I still love the sport and continue to watch it.
I think the NFL handled it appropriately, they basically ignored it. It was the media that made a big deal out of it. Now that it has been a few weeks, even though several players are still doing it, hardly anyone says anything about it.
Between my kid's team, college, and NFL I watch a lot of football every week and I enjoy it all.
Also the players in the NFL that do good things, like charity work, far outweigh the bad.
