Feel free to quote #60 in this thread, and forward it to any Player, CEO of a team, or NFL Headquarters. Fuck 'em.

There’s a Facebook group calling for a boycott on Veterans Day weekend. Hope it’s successful.

Watch world cup. You stand up while 2 national anthems (2 teams) play.

Was never a big NFL guy, but I watched sometimes. However, I usually used sports as a break from politics. Now that sports, (like most things) is hyper-politicized, I have no use for the NFL or the overpaid, entitled, whiny jackholes who play in it.

Do the networks actually show the anthem on TV? I don't remember them showing it years ago when I was watching football, except before the Super Bowl.

If they are suddenly showing it because of the controversy, what does that tell you? Libtards running the show, that's what. Ignore the childish behavior and it would fade away. Spotlight it and it will flourish. And libs love this shit.

I quit watching when Peyton Manning retired, and I only watched parts of games as it was.

Now I have absolutely no reason to watch a bunch of assholes many of whom if not for slavery would be dead or dying of starvation in Africa.

Biting the hand that feeds them will get them nowhere.

I haven't heard, did all the players stand yesterday or are they still protesting "something" of which no one really knows what that "something" is. And there lies the problem for them, last I had heard several players seemed to have a different answer to the "why" part, and since they've lost any resemblance of unity across the players for the reason, they've lost all validity in my view. I simply will not watch another NFL game until they all decide to stand. If that time never comes, screw em.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

I heard a blurb on the radio saying that it's about gender pay gap or some crap now. Morons.

Maybe players feel impotent because their whole life centers around a game, and acting like they care about these "issues" makes them feel important.

Gotta somehow justify that they're better than the rest of us.
