Frickin' Yotes

I was playing golf this morning at Aurora Hills, on number 10 that runs right along the canal I saw the biggest most well fed yote I have ever seen. He paid absolutely no attention to me even I yelled and clapped my hands at him. I wish I had my .22 mag and not my 4 wood. I warned a woman who was walking her dogs a little further up the canal and she wisely turned around. It is ridiculous how they have lost their fear of man here in the city, they need an abatement program.

I carry but not usually on the golf course, that may change if I keep seeing these monster yotes. I don't think they approve of firing in the city limits though

You were in fear for your life. He showed no fear of humans and you were taught that's a sign of rabies. When he turned to look at you, you got scared and defended yourself instinctively.

Good friends of ours live on the golf course at the Colorado Springs Country Club, their little dog attacked one of the coyotes that live on the golf course. Didn't go well for little dog. Their new dog is not so aggressive.

The problem with my dog.. he's not so little... and he's taken on 3 and sent them running. He seriously tries to play with them. I do carry when we walk..

That being said I've learned to drop the leash after he damn near removed my shoulder.
