I usually only see the antlered jackalope (deerious jacaloupious) while hunting eastern Colorado. If I make it up to Nebraska or South Dakota hunting this year I'll shoot you one of their cousins (pronghorn jacaloupious) and you can get it stuffed at the taxidermist of your choice.
Lots of people worry about snakes and wear leg gaiters for rattlers but I've found these viscous little jackalopes to do a number on my lower legs so I always wear muck boots to soften the attacks.
