thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated. i went ahead and cut it out with the pistols facing each other and inverted. i could have put the mags in thin ways, but thought they were a bit easier to get out by laying them flat and stacking them. also, the pistols sat a little deep so i cut out a piece to set on top to better hold them in place, works well. ill post pics soon.

i used a cheapo electric knife to cut it out, seriously cut through it like a warm knife through butter. not even mild resistance. the only problem was i cut a little too fast so i have a few spots that aren't 100% straight but you can't even really tell. also, i was afraid of cutting it too small and not having space to fit the guns, so i ended up cutting it a smidge too big, but really it doesn't matter, its tight enough and they won't bounce around when the case is closed.

Neither are mine...on ARFCOM, in their AR-15>Slings & Other Accesories forum, there is a thread with people showing how they fit everything in their Storm cases...

you know on arfcom they talk about making some cutting tool for the foam, but i don't see why people don't use the electric knives. it was crazy how it just flew right through the foam, nice and neat too.

sure its an electric knife rig but it seems like way too much trouble and money for it. making a straight line and 90 degree angle isn't that hard with a handheld one. also, if you want a pelican cheaper check out my post in the buyer intel. i actually got the guy to ship the brand new one to me for $130, but don't tell him i sent you or told you because i kinda had to twist his arm for it. hes looking to get rid of them fast though
