The reason anti-gunners look so stupid discussing gun laws is that 99% of them know NOTHING about (a) guns or (b) law.
So that kind of handicaps them in the "conversation." They are pretty much reduced to shouting out somebody else's talking points or just shrieking like Helen Lovejoy: "Won't somebody please think of the children?"

That's a great example to show along side that argument.
If you really believed your life was in danger and the only thing you did was go shopping for a gun, well then not all action was taken. Obviously don't hand them the easy counter argument when you drop that example though. Goes a long way when paired with that article.

Been filling in for my early morning/days guy. Which means I have to wake up at 4 to replace my overnight person. Really appreciated being seconds from sleep the other night only to have the neighbor launch off a bunch of fireworks at 915ish-pm.
