...appears there has to be something wrong with everything.?
The mag release is situated in such a way as to present all my Colt smg mags just "too high" enough that it requires a pass through the mill on every mag to let the bolt slide forward. I guess the love affair is over.

Can you make a pass on the mag catch? It would be easier than cutting a bunch of mags.
