Default Place to buy loose diamonds

You guys know a good place to buy them? I don't want to those big places like Zales, etc that jack up their cost 20X

Looking for a smaller place that has a good selection. Would prefer up in NoCO but I realize I'm probably gonna have to drive down to Denver.
