So apparently the Palestinian Authority is now claiming the Dead Sea Scrolls are an item of Palestinian heritage and must be "returned" to them. That, along with their claim that Jesus of Nazareth was a Palestinian spawned a new hashtag, #PalestinianClaims

Palestine was a Roman province; which was made up of different peoples, faiths, and kingdoms all of which were conquered during Rome's rule. Palestine died with the Roman empire. The "Palestinians" as they call themselves have numerous Arab countries in the region to choose from, I suggest they get over themselves and move to one, or live in the sovereign nation they are located.

Therein lies the problem, no other Arab country wants them. Even among Arabs the pali's are dogs.

The conflict over the scrolls is more than a decade old with several conspiracy theories. The primary theory is that the Jews don't want to release because they prove the messiah has come. Secondary is the Catholic Church doesn't want them released for the opppsite reason up to and including a botched canoninazation.
