I've been saying this since the talk of nullifying the election results/eliminating the electoral college/recount/etc. HRC conceded. What kind of a messed up precedence would that set if this tomfoolery were allowed? "Sure, you can concede now, but we'll just contest the results through the rest of November even if the President-Elect is already working on the transition and gearing up for cabinet appointments." I haven't seen Hillary go to a press conference and say she's willing to no longer accept the results. To hell with our current system, let's just throw it all out and let the inmates run the asylum.

The giant "ifs" are this. IF they can swing Wisconsin AND Pennsylvania AND Michigan back to Hillary with recounts she wins. Anything less than all three and the election goes to Congress who will give it to Trump.
My prediction is that there will only be recounts in Wisconsin and Michigan (and considering how good Dems are rigging recounts I'd put the chances at about 50% that they flip WI and 70% that they flip Michigan. I'm sure they'll find "Missing" votes in the trunks of cars like they did to get Al Franken in to the senate. Trump's lead is only 22,000 votes in WI and 17,000 in MI). But I don't believe there will be a recount in Pennsylvania (and if there is his lead is big enough there that I put their chances of flipping the state at less than 20% considering Trump's 70,000 vote lead there)
The best they really can hope for is to undermine the legitimacy and mandate of Trump's victory like they did to Bush in 2000. Which would likely have stuck if the Dem's fellow travelers from Saudi didn't pull those shenanigans in NYC and DC.
The final IF is IF the dems manage to pull this off. IF that happens and we as citizens don't immediately call for the violent overthrow of the Federal government and public execution of everyone involved, then we deserve the death, and slavery coming our way.

My question to the RECOUNT NOW crowd is.... If there concern was real and not put up. Why are you not going after recounts in states with closer totals? Seriously, if the "Russians Hacked" the machines. Why those 2-3 states and not hard core dem strongholds, like NY,MA AND CA.
Because those were the easiest to hack... i'm told![]()

Honestly I don't think this is going to amount to anything... .All the articles I've read quoting the Hillary camp and the white house have said that there is NO evidence of any tampering.
Instead I think this is further de-legitimize Trump's presidency.
I think this is about sending the election to congress to vote Trump in .
The recount in Wisconsin, and the coming ones in Michigan and Pennsylvania will not change the outcomes in any of the states. No recount ever changes thousands of votes. I do not think that is the purpose.
The recounts, if done by hand, which can be demanded, may take longer than the last day for completing the official counts in a state and directing Electoral College voters. If all 3 states miss the deadline, Trump is at 260, Hillary at 232. No one hits 270.
Then this goes to Congress, where the House voting 1 vote per state elects Trump, and Senate selects Pence. This would be first time Pthis happened since 1824, but in that case, John Quincy Adams won in the House, though he had fewer electoral college votes than Andrew Jackson.
If this goes to the US House and Senate, and the result is the same as result from the Electoral College without the recounts, why do it? The answer is to make Trump seem even more illegitimate, that he did not win the popular vote (he lost by over 2.1 million), he did not win the Electoral College (did not reach 270), and was elected by being inserted into the presidency by members of his own party in Congress.

https://straightlinelogic.com/Over the past couple of days we’ve written numerous times about Jill Stein’s recount efforts in WI, MI and PA (see here, here and here). And while it’s clear that Stein intends to move forward with recounts in all three states (she’s now up to $6.1mm in donations), what is unclear, and quite perplexing, is exactly why she’s pursuing these recounts in the first place. Here are the potential justifications from Stein’s perspective, as we see them:
- Personal self-interest? – Obviously, No. With less than 1% of the vote in WI, MI and PA, Stein obviously has no shot of winning any of the states in question.
- Hopes of recount tipping states to Hillary? – No. Multiple experts and even Hillary campaign insiders have admitted that overturning election results with a margin of victory of several 1,000 votes is extremely unlikely. To win, Hillary would have to flip WI, MI and PA even though she trails by ~20k, ~12k and ~70k votes in each of those states, respectively…not going to happen.
- Exposing voting machine hacking? – No. Even the Obama administration has confirmed the the election was “free and fair from a cybersecurity perspective” and that votes “accurately reflect the will of the American people.” By failing to present even a shred of evidence of vote tampering in her WI recount petition, instead choosing to focus on wild conspiracy theories, Stein effectively also admits that there was no “hacking” of voting machines.
- Fundraising scam to get millions in donations from disaffected Hillary voters? – Maybe. As of right now, Stein has raised ~$6mm of the $7mm she says she needs to fund recount efforts. Assuming Stein goes through with recounts in all three states and her cost estimates are reasonably accurate then she won’t really have that much money left over to be added to the general Green Party coffers.
Didn't she also say throughout her campaign that a Hillary victory would mean we all die in a nuclear war with Russia and that as bad as Trump is at least we don't all die?
My money is on the money ... she's run for president twice now as the Green candidate and runnin' ain't cheap (especially when you keep loosing). She wants to make some of this foolishly wasted money back.
And the reason she's getting so many lefties to support her in this is because it undermines Trump's "mandate".

As Trump announces his cabinet picks -- including "Mad Dog" for SecDef -- I am happy to admit I was wrong about Trump being a plant and questioning his conservativism. I still think he is more of a liberal than conservative in some areas but he is striking exactly the right tone (to me) and getting Carrier to reverse their plant decision before he's even inaugurated shows he means business.
The whining and obfuscation last night at Harvard by Clinton's campaign manager is just gravy for my meal. For the liberals, it should be red-eye gravy but I'm sure they'll opt for something like Bernaise ...
