At the end of the day, this is an opportunity to learn and grow and consider another world view. This is a wakeup call to get out of safe spaces, politically correct thinking, shatter echo chambers, and challenge yourself to consider the other side of the fence. This is an opportunity to reach out and truly learn to understand each other.
As I work with a predominately liberal crew, there has been some discussion as to why Clinton lost. While there are several other gems in the blog, I think this paragraph sums it up.

The two millennial guys on the crew, who are the most vocal regarding their confusion regarding Clinton's loss are also the most tuned in to their different social media outlets. These guys have the highest levels of education among us but they also have the most difficulty moving between social groups. They have relatively small comfort zones and don't accept psychological challenges well. Modern edumacation has failed them.
