Default I'm still pretty worried about the Electoral Collage vote on 12/19

    http://nypost.com/2016/11/09/the-one...e-white-house/

I can just see the members who are Republican doing the honest thing (which the left always counts on) and actually vote for who they were supposed to vote for.

...and every member who's a Democrat voting for Hillary and handing her the election. They'll think it's justifiable because they, after all, know better than the scum that elected Trump.

I fear we're not out of the woods yet.

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

If the Electoral College screws us and puts Hillary in instead of Trump, the US will explode in civil war. I just can't imagine them doing such a thing.

I agree with your first sentence and I can imagine some people trying. I think that is Soros' plan.

I hope cooler heads will prevail.

My understanding is the electors are party loyal. So a change wouldn't just be a betrayal of the popular vote in that state, but of their party. It would create state-level constitutional crisis and a major party crisis as well (some states bind electors to the vote). If the GOP condones it, they are done. If they can't control their electors, they are done.

    Doesn't matter. Hillary conceded.

Here's a good article explaining to liberals why they shouldn't get their hopes up that the EC could hand the election to Hillary (and its by Vox ... about as lefty as the come).

EC is not a plurality election. Even if every single elector pledged to Kek abstained or changed their vote to someone besides #MangoMessiah, Hillary would not have the 270 required to win.

Congress will simply ignore or decertify ballots which do not comply with their state's laws, and if no one gets to 270, the president is decided by a state-by-state vote in the House.

Only if 40 or so (R) electors switched their votes from Pepe to Cankles (not just abstained), and then only if the new Congress accepted those changed votes rather than simply decertifying and ignoring them, would Cankles win the EC vote. If it came down to a vote in the House, Trump won more than 25 states, which would again make him president unless quite a number of the party bolted on him (again).

Assuming nothing happens to Trump that would make him unable to take office, Trump WILL BE president next January. No need to worry.

The names of the EC are public record, right? Which half of the populace would they rather have mad at them?
