    Default Dog bones

Looking for suggestions for bones that the dogs can chew on that will help clean their teeth?

    Thanks

Antlers are great. I was buying them and after asking a few friends for there trash antlers I have many on the floor. Elk or deer seems to be softer then antelope, the antelope last forever and seem to be the ones that keep the teeth very clean.

Some caution is needed with the antlers still. They can crack teeth if unsupervised. Depends on the dog I guess.
I collect sheds and split them up with my bandsaw . I really can't believe how expensive the rawhide bones and rolls are these days.
I did see an ad for some pork type , non rawhide bone on tv or something.

Do the deer, elk antlers stink? I know that some other dog chews like bully sticks smell horrible when they are chewing on them. And give the dog serious ass breath. Do not want.

Buffalo bully sticks. They do not smell. Greenies. Not as good as the old formula (thanks dumb a$$ civil suit) but still decent. Get soup bones (beef) from the grocery store.

They used to be free now they charge for them and they're in a frozen food display.
