If I were Comey, I would sell everything, change my name, and move to an undisclosed foreign country or tropical island. That's a much better way to "disappear" than the all-too-typical 'suicide by shooting yourself in the back of the head twice' or the 'smash and grab' where somebody breaks into your home, shoots you several times, and then doesn't steal anything.
