What is a "Liberal Friend"? They all wrote me off the last time a Rethuglican "stole" the election.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

"Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen.
    -Friedrich Nietzsche

"Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people."
    -Penn Jillette

Was thinking about the same thing. Not sure I have any. I know some liberals that I make fun of regularly and mock as often as possible. Is that not the preferred method of winning them over?

The most important thing to be learned from those who demand "Equality For All" is that all are not equal...

Being less of a hardline conservative and more of an independent (officially, I'm a Paleolibertarian / Classical Liberal), I do have lots of friends who are not hardline conservatives, but are getting more interested in guns. I took a guy who wasn't interested much in politics out shooting for the first time last week, and he loved it! Some time after thanksgiving, I'll be introducing a friend who calls himself an independent to the range. I showed him a couple of guns last week at my place and he made it clear that while he was interested, he and his wife were afraid of having guns in the house with young kids.... We'll fix that!

    My Feedback

"When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law." -Frederic Bastiat

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."
― Russell Kirk, Author of The Conservative Mind

If I had liberal "friends" I'd probably recommend something like this for their first gun.
