I don’t have any liberal friends but I guess of some sort of non-gun person that I might know and passing would be asking about her first gun I would probably tell them to go get a 22 rifle after taking a hunter safety course

A 22 rifle? So your non-gun person would be asking about hunting? What if they asked you about guns for personal defense? Not that .22 rifles aren't great little plinkers.

You should read both articles- they're a little long, but they're great for answers for non-gun people.

I guess I probably should read the articles but if they are asking about hunting and they have never shot a firearm before I would tell them maybe they should start out with hunting prairie dogs with the 22

If they’re asking about self defense I would teach them how to build the cheapest Romanian ak parts kit they could find on a receiver flat

Oh boy.. I've bought an AIMS 74 kit, a regular Romanian 47 kit and a Romanian RPK kit from AoA over the last 4 months.. add on the fact that both Childers and Recreator make blanks with the rails welded in.. Do I win?

ACK. That's awfully advanced for a beginner. How about taing them to a range where they can rent guns and try them out first?

Read the articles, and then tell me what you think. Did he miss anything? Any ideas to add?
