Default Wind Bells - Vigil Farms custom wind chimes

The wife and I have recently started a business making WindBells. What is a windbell you say. Well....

Our windbells are a one-of-a-kind creation! Made from decommissioned air tanks, our windbells make an extraordinary chime. They are hand-cut and hand-painted for a unique look and sound.
The bells measure between 14-16 inches tall and have a diameter of 4 inches. On average they weigh between 7-8 pounds. Prices are between $60 and $80 for standard patterns, with custom work available on a quote basis. Typically custom paint colors and painting is $5-$10 dollars more. Custom lengths and ringers are again $5-$10. Discounts are available on purchases of 3 or more. Below are just a small sample of the designs we are working on. If you are interested please feel free to contact me through the forum or check out our webpage at:

Also, I've been meaning to record some sound files. The bells sound vary, depending on length, bottle thickness, even paint has provided some differences to the tones. On average, they produce a mellow tone, that to me is reminiscent of a buoy.

PS. I have no issues with making a Colorado flag bell, just haven't done one yet.

These look very well done. Have you considered of a putting up a Youtube of them in action so everyone can hear the sound? I imagine it's a pretty deep "gong."

I've uploaded a video that demonstrates the variation in tones produced by our Wind Bells. It's now on our website and also embedded here.

Kinda been crazy the last couple of weeks with last minute Xmas orders. I'll be updating the website and here with available instock bells and some new options. I do have some for sale right now, so feel free to contact me with any inquiries.

Shipping UPS is generally 12-16 bucks. And I do have an available TX bell. I will be headed out on holiday vacation over the weekend, so I can only promise to get out pre-Xmas stuff tomorrow or Saturday.

Cool! I'd like to have one unpainted for a target. Out at BLGC on the cowboy range there's a big steel silhouette of a "bad guy" with a heart-shaped hole in his chest, and a big bell like that behind the heart. Put a bullet through the heart and the bell rings quite nicely. Lead bullets though, not for jacketed hp rifle stuff.
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!

It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits.....
