Saw a trailer on TV this morning. Looks like a real winner.

Current average rating for Miss Sloan on imdb.com has it at a 5.9/10.

I suspect a lot of people are tired of being lectured by Hollywood.

Kind of reminds me of during the Bush years every few months another movie would come out painting our soldiers as either psychopathic killers and rapists or else dumb-as-dirt dupes. AFAIK every one of those movies bombed at the box office.

I'm imagining some studio executives sitting around a table and saying "We can't figure out why Mr. and Mrs. middle America don't want to shell out fifteen bucks to watch movies that portray their sons and daughters as either monsters or idiots."

So, only about 60% of the reviews on rotten tomatoes like the movie, and even a lot of the positive reviews refer to the protagonist as unlikable.

I stand by my prediction. If it makes money, it'll be just barely, and it'll have a short theatrical run in flyover country.

A year from now it'll be about as fondly remembered as The Trigger Effect.

I was reading something about the movie earlier today. About how it was created in anticipation of Hillary winning and starting the big gun control push. I mean, really, it's like Hollywood elite were in cahoots with the DNC.
