If it is a murder suicide, what can bring you to the point of taking your childrens lifes. Very sad hopefully the father can deal with the loss of his kids.

Seems to me that parents tend to pull the murder/suicide with their kids for one of two reasons.

1) They want to off themselves but fear the damage it will do to their children so they take them with them.
2) Revenge against the other parent.

I guess this lady could be a Hillary supporter that believes the BS that Trump is going to cause WWIII or put people in camps or some other such nonsense, but then I'd think she'd take her husband out too.

Good point, we really don't know anything about this right now other than it is taking a lot of people (both in the general community and those who knew the family) by surprise. But you can bet if a gun was used it will shift from whatever the root cause was to the tool.

While I understand suicide, I do not understand the idea of taking your children with you to save them harm. It is denying them the opportunity to recover and potentially enjoy life. I do understand the idea of murdering them to harm a spouse/loved one.

Pointing that out in the context of an unexplainable local tragedy involving suicide doesn't make anyone less Christian. Wishing something horrific happens to another member here certainly isn't Christian.
