I don't want to be on a list either. I want my government to think I'm the perfect sheep ready for shearing. I also want criminals to think I'm unarmed as to increase how attractive myself and my family would be to them.
But seriously, I think the lists would not be drawn from gun board postings rather records that already exist (as the Kazoo points out).

Author is a convicted felon by the way. Lots of gems in that "piece" as well!...how about adding something immediately useful: a gun owner registry available to the public online — something like those for sex offenders.
So we could have known who our best friends are, our good neighbors, the businesses we should be supporting, and the companies for which we should be working. Neat huh?
