This. I am still amazed at the people who freely give all their information to Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc. and then think the same government bureaucrats they rail against as lazy ineffective morons are out there reading their mail and diving into their trash. Google has FAR more information on every American citizen than the USG and they actually use it.
And some people actually want Nationwide Reciprocity......
I watched the movie "Nerve" this weekend. Its basically about an online game where you can either be a player or a watcher. If you're a player, you receive dares and get paid if you complete them and you win by having the most "watchers" following you online.
Anywho, when one of the characters decides to be a "player", it shows all the things it uses to compile a profile for you and find out what your big fears are so they can dare you more. It's creepy but it shows how many "lists" you voluntarily give up. Facebook, youtube videos, amazon, music, etc. EVERYTHING she had/did online was sorted through basically.
Just goes to show you that in today's world, its pretty much impossible to not be on a list.

I'm not afraid of being on a list of all the legal things I've done.
Every data point builds a piece of a picture. And if that picture's data points subtend to "this guy is potentially dangerous" in some future algorithm's data output.
However, as one Cybersecurity expert put it, "if people don't want to be on a list, they should have unplugged and moved to the woods 15 years ago."
