Default Minor Miracle on a over 13 year old car.

I must have someone up there looking out for me !
just got a call back ( an hour and a half ago) from the Stealership, my 13+ year old beater commuter car is completely covered by a special service tech bulletin, the fuel tank, fuel pump and filler hose from the tank to the steel filler tube are going to be replaced at no charge to me.
This might not sound amazing to most of you all, but for me, someone who is cursed by Murphy and is always just a few numbers off to qualify for most recalls, service bulletins and the like and have to pay for repairs that can?t do on my own. This is a miracle.

    WooooooHoooooo, hood rant over....
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

    Nice, SSB.

Are they giving you a chainsaw with that, too?

    Too soon?

Sounds like you may be more lucky than you know. To replace all that and the MFR pay, must have had some issues, maybe like the pinto picture someone posted not too long ago in the funny pictures thread?

    Goods news!

That is indeed similar to a winning a scratch ticket.

BTW, right after the chainsaw incident, I saw the same person at a other forum asking people to borrow a generator. I think more than 1 person IM the member who was about to lend a generator.

I?m over the chainsaw, but it is still funny when someone brings it up out of the blue.....

Yes that would be like a low four digit scratch off considering what the parts & labor would have run.
