AR in .17hmr
My laptop is about to die. Just had an idea, (it happens on occasion), can I build up an AR in 17hmr? Are barrels & bolts available?
I have an extra lower I can't give away, so...
If there are some favorite vendors for barrels, & parts in .17 let me know. Id be interested in hearing.

Not sure about an AR but you can build a pretty nifty 10/22 in .17.
Just not sure you could get 10/22 mags to work with the AR and as such I'm not sure what mags you'd use.
EDIT: (google first, then post) looks like Alexander Arms (the .50 Beowulf guys) make one

Thanks for the heads-up on AA. Parts arn't everywhere for .17hmr, too bad. It was just a wild hair of an idea after an evening scotch.
