    I can't think of many businesses that wouldn't fire an employee after firing a gun on their property.

    So maybe I'm in the minority but firing a gun at robbers that were leaving? Seems like putting people, including yourself, at risk unnecessarily. Unless bodily harm is immediately likely, why use a gun? Can't say I blame the employer here. Looks like irresponsible gun use and that's a black eye for any service business.

    There is often a very thin line between hero and idiot, and it usually comes down to using the gun only when absolutely necessary.
