I remember when this happening thinking how much the police over stepped. I think the city got off cheap. I'm surprised more people weren't in the lawsuit.

It's funny you mention this because I was wondering the same thing. In the moments following the bombing I found myself alone in questioning the reach of LE in their search for the perps. Constitutionally protected rights aren't protected when things are going fine and stress levels are low. There's time to make the proper decision then. The Constitution represents the bare minimum of rights so that in times of stress and anxiety the line is clear and it was crossed that day blatantly and numerous times in the name of safety and it didn't seem like too many people gave a shit.
