My Beretta 90-two trigger bar needs refinishing.
It has been rubbing against the inside of the grip and the finish wore off.
I have since relieved the inside of the grip as much as I feel comfortable doing without compromising the grip integrity, but there still may be a degree of rubbing.
I have tried to do a cold blueing with the Birchwood Casey Super Blue, but it did absolutely nothing.
I have tried with the Aluminum Black, zip, nothing, nada...
My guess is I am dealing with stainless steel, and that the part was originally painted, rather than blued.
I have a friend that can duracoat it, but I hear it is not very wear resistant and that Cerakote is a better option.
I am in Wheatridge, is anybody around my neck of the woods that would do this kind of job?
What could I expect to spend?
