I have handled the Caniks, they don't fit my hand well and the grip texture doesn't hold a candle to the 2.0. Again, my opinion only.

I’ve been carrying my 2.0 appendix in a Trex arms raptor for the past few weeks. I might have to throw some talons in mine it’s rubbing my stomach raw haha

I've got the Compact coming with nights. Might put an Apex trigger in it, but that appears to be all it needs.
That's how mine is setup. I carry appendix with a bravo company Torsion, http://www.bravoconcealment.com/prod...rsion-holsters which is sized for the 4.25" model but the compact fits it just fine.
Are you guys that have owned previous M&P models really impressed with the 2.0 trigger? Or does it still need the apex upgrade? I’m happy my M&P’s after the apex triggers, have both full size and shield. I am really considering the 2.0 compact, but after trigger upgrade and new sights.... I’m hesitant. Haven’t shot one or pulled a trigger.

For me, it's more than sufficient for carry or competition. I reviewed the M2.0 Compact recently https://youtu.be/uZ2nRyPOo18. I have several M2.0 5" FDE reviews and vids of USPSA and IDPA matches as well. No, not a CZ Shadow Custom or a 1911 trigger, but for me, excellent.
Don't know if this is even a competitive price compared to local or other on line places. Seems like everyone is doing decent end of year sales, again.

I paid $419 plus $8.95 shipping from GrabAGun, so for me it was a great price for the M2.0 Compact. Quantico Tactical has a great price on a 3-pack of mags (15 rounds) for the M2.0 Compact (http://www.quanticotactical.com/asp/...M2.0%20Compact).
I added the Trijicon HDs (of course) - they really round out what I feel is a top notch carry pistol.
