Thanks for the recommendation, I'll give it a go.

Just finished "Counterpart" on Amazon prime. Primarily english, some German with subtitles, very good IMHO. Parallel worlds, plots, twists, counter plots... well done.

Started "Bosch" season-6, Amazon prime. Half-way through first episode, looks like it's going to be good.

We've been happy with the last 5 seasons. Good to know this one continues that.

The writer of the books is also the one who wrote The Lincoln Lawyer. Which the spouse says the movie, didn't veer too far from the book.

The Bosch series is written such that it merges a number of themes from various books. There are a few differences, but the overall arc is consistent.

I know Billy bob Thornton isn't everyone's favorite.

If you like something different. Take a look at Goliath

I went to start season 6 of Bosch, but didn’t remember any of the stuff from the previous season. Now I have two seasons of Bosch to watch.

Season one of Goliath was exceptional, season two was abysmal, and two episodes into season three is very weird. There is so much WTF randomness in this season.
