I've recently been enlightened to what's available on the net/TV....and I'm surprised a little bit. Soon I will tell Comcast to shove their $250 a month bill completely up their collective ass.

Amazon Prime (bonus, Amazon Prme videos and TV) $99.00/year

Netflix @$12.00/month

Hulu @$12.00/month

If you like pay channels, they're available for @ $10.00/month through Amazon

or if you need sports channels, you can get Sling TV for @ $20/month.

FAR, far less expensive than what you're paying. You watch TV when you want, when it fits your schedule. You can still pull in local channels through a Leaf antenna (@ $60.00, sometimes on sale at Microcenter) and get the news.

Roku- @$100

The current base model Roku is only $40 and is freaking awesome (just make sure you get the model 3900, not the 3700 because they're often sold on the same SKU but the 3900 is the new quad core model wheras the older 3700 is only dual core).

Good to know! We bought ours two or three years ago (the Roku box 3) and it was about $100. Glad to hear they're dropping in price.
