The end of Jack Ryan was frustrating to me. As in it seemed fake.

Can't discuss it, as i asked for NO SPOILERS when this thread started.

Jack Ryan Season 2 was OK. I had some real issues relative to the time it takes to travel (as in how does the team on the ground in the jungle get to the camp before the truck?).

Roads are on switchbacks, while patrol cuts across.

Either way, as Chris Hardwick said when someone over analyzed one of the TWD shows.
    Hey it's a t.v. show, not a documentary

Riight. I try to ignore as much of this stuff as I can, but sometimes they exceed my level of disbelief.

Any time we're watching a movie and something impossible or improbable happens and my wife questions it I just remind her it's a movie.

I'm full of contradictions when it comes to what things I can deal with, and those I can't, when it comes to a suspension of disbelief.

Yeah, me too. Some things I can just chalk-up to the premise and others just annoy the crap out of me. I sometimes laugh at myself that this far-fetched premise that defies our known world was OK until *that* happened.

The way my memory works is that I remember 'last known state', so I'm a continuity guy's worst nightmare.

I say that I'm full of contradictions because it sounds polite and balanced. I really think that all my beliefs make perfect sense.

Note to self: avoid watching movies with Irving and Gman.

Watching people with OCD freaking out over small details would really trigger me.
