    North Colorado Springs, tree in my side yard. It is (was) a good 15+ foot tree. Luckily it just missed the house and deck.

    WTH is it with evergreens? They have no root system whatsover. I saw one down in my neighborhood. It was an old/tall tree and the roots went down about two feet.

    After only a few inches of soil it's just clay. Hard to expand, and few nutrients.
