    Default Diesel Guys

I'm looking at deleting and tuning my 2012 6.7 cummins. I've been talking with Travis Hammonds or BH diesel in the springs. Has anyone used him before for a delete or EFI live tune? Or any other recommendations?

I've known Clint at ATS for a million years, he's good people. Dunno how much he does with the Cummins, though.

    Gunner,
He tuned my 2007 6.7L with EFI live... and he put some after market exhaust pipe in the bed so I could put something on when the stock stuff fell off. (he would have installed it for a fee, but I like to wrench)

Truck runs great (it was choking bad on the stock DPF after 160k miles before) came with the dial settings 1-5... 1 is stock, 2 is just a bit more power, 3 is towing, 4 has more timing and fuel (you can hear a difference in the idle), and 5 is even more.

I've had some codes come up- but does not appear to be the fault of the tune- just the nature of turning up power... ask about fuel relief valve shim mod... that and an upgraded fuel system are in my future- and new injectors before 200k.

He came highly recommended from the CDC (Colorado Diesel Crew) group on Facebook... and did not disappoint.

Remember gunner.... once you start tuning, you start losing long term reliability. Make sure you read all sides of the coin before you decide the route you will go. Also, once you start modding, you will catch the mod bug and want to keep doing more and more!

Awesome yeah I found him on Rocky Mountain diesel crew and colorado diesel crew. His price seems very reasonable I'm just worried about this emissions crap. But I have to be able to still put it all back on for emissions here in dougco

Start putting Kroil or PB blaster on all the fittings now... and every day until you're ready to take them off... some of the stainless pressure sensor lines would NOT come off for me...

This, too... the 2007 is my wife's truck... (mine's a '98 12V) when the codes first came up for low fuel pressure and rail relief valve activating she was driving it... she punched it when it was cold... I told her to ease into it until it warms up- and I can either ask Travis to turn the fuel down a little, or get fuel upgrades so the codes won't happen anymore... she was like "less power? no way!"

I really could care less about the tune I really just want the EGR and DPF delete. But I'll be throwing codes and issues if I do that with no tune
