I was born and raised in GA, and spent 15 yrs in CO.

Consider me a Colorado native please.

After the Olympics and stable employment in the 90s Atlanta and all Georgia completely changed. More carpetbaggers from the north; blue state mentality; entitlement and all changed the staunch defiant hardworking honest people to northern oppressors with Liberal Arts Degrees.

Hey...no big deal if you are not from Colorado.

I am one of the 2 biggest imports of Colorado...I am a Texan. ( Californians are the other...I like to think it was God's way of keeping balance )

I lived my whole life as a child and teenager -within- and all over Texas from the piney woods to the Gulf coast to the Hill Country to the Rio Grande.

When I was an adult I moved with my wife to New York state along the Hudson river Valley. That fall, as the leaves turned every shade, I knew my folks had lied to me when they told me that Texas was the most beautiful place.

Now that I live in the foothills of the front range I look out every morning at what so many folks spend vacation money just to see. I am not native but perhaps I appreciate it more because I am not.
