I am sad that he never got to see us return to the Moon. I hope I get to.

We will and are, now that NASA no longer stands for Nurturing Arab Self Awareness. With NASA properly funded we are going to see a return to the moon, to say nothing of Space X. The Falcon Heavy rocket system is due to come online which could send large payloads to the Moon needed to set up a base.

Its still a shame he did not get to see use go back and go to stay for good. He was a humble man, great father and grand father and was a vocal advocate of Space Exploration.

    He will be missed.

Gene was part of a great documentary on Apollo narrated by Neil Cavuto.
