These are the people that vote against us every election. Nothing new here.

They are mostly white women. Many probably transplants. It's the exact same demo that wants social programs and gun control.

With the way the media has behaved I'm surprised it's only 200K. You'd think Trump was going to open up concentration camps any day now.

It's part of the grieving process. As there are so many of these special snowflakes, and each one is different (that's what makes 'em special), not all of them are in the same place. But I figure for most of them, this is the "depression, reflection, loneliness" stage. There are many still who have not progressed to that stage yet and are still in the "anger and loneliness" part of the process.

Huh. That's a lot of angry women. You would think Trump had invited thousands if Islamic terrorists to come across our boarders who hate women, and want to rape them and take all their rights and freedoms away.

There looks to be a hell of a lot more than 20k out there. And there is nothing wrong with that. Trump's previous comments are pretty awful, and while there is plenty of bullshit excuses to dislike him, he's given a lot of people legit reasons to do so as well.

The reason they are protesting is, because now they will have to actually get jobs.

Could be more, sure. I was never good at crowd estimation from cropped photos though. But make no mistake, this and other marches were just as much fabricated by leftist money as all the other ones. This march was branded about women (which is pretty friggin' vague), but it's really a leftist (read: culturally marxist) march like all the other ones designed to further an agenda.

    Here's their mission statement:

The Women’s March On Denver Mission Statement

Because we CARE, on January 21, 2017 we will stand together to tell the nation and the administration-elect that:

    1) All women shall maintain the freedom and lawful protection to choose what is best for them as it concerns their biological and reproductive health.

    2) The diverse and vibrant communities of the United States of America shall be protected from political factions that would seek to inhibit their expression and existence by implementing legal restrictions on personal freedoms. These diverse and vibrant communities are the fabric of our great country and shall not be torn by hateful, divisive, and racist rhetoric or actions.

    3) All people, regardless of gender, gender identification, ethnicity, racial heritage, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation and/or socioeconomic status shall be treated equally and equitably, with respect, dignity and justice for all.

By bringing thousands of people together online and in person at Denver’s Civic Center Park, we strive to provide an outlet and support for those who wish to:

    1) Advocate for and defend the most marginalized members of our society.

    2) Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations within local Colorado communities.

    3) Serve as a model of peaceful demonstration for the young women and men, and girls and boys, who will be the leaders of tomorrow.

    4) Honor the women and men who have come before us and fought for human and women’s rights.

    Our Vision Statement

We are all relevant, we are all valued, and we are more powerful together.

    Our Message

This march is not a protest, but rather an opportunity for all participants to support social justice, human rights and equality, and to demonstrate that we will be vigilant in protecting these rights moving forward.
    http://www.marchoncolorado.org/home/missionstatement

Here's their perpetually-kinetic end state goal:

The question keeps coming up - What's going to happen after the march?
Many of those involved as organizers and marchers are working on creating a solid community of people who are willing to stand up and work vigilantly for the protection and expansion of human rights. Our vision for the future of our movement is blurry...but we do have a vision.
We will be focusing on connecting people with the organizations and opportunities that allow them to be a force for change in areas that are important to them while also mobilizing everyday folks to take part in the legislative process in ways that further our cause of social justice and human rights.
How this will manifest is highly dependent on the people who decide to let their voice be heard beyond January 21st. Right now we are focused on the march and rally, BUT we are connecting with one another on social media through our MarchonColorado.org group that we established in an effort to maintain the phenomenal positive and determinded energy that has arose out of the marches.
If you are interested in being a part of our movement going forward, please email us at marchondenver@gmail.com, with MOVING FORWARD in the subject line.
    http://www.marchoncolorado.org/home/movingforward

Are you familiar with Saul Alinsky's methods? If so, you'd be able to see his methods at work in plain English, hidden in plain sight behind seemingly innocuous phrases. Make no mistake, this is not organic. If someone were to be able to do the digging (which would require infiltrating the group) they would find the same things I found when I participated in similar actions against the war in Iraq via IVAW after my first tour, my second tour, and after I was med retired: when I got to know the main players more it became apparent the IVAW wasn't really about ending the war per se, but was really furthering a leftist agenda (and funded by leftist money, run by legit Marxists).

It's nothing more than an apparent force multiplier for the left. It has nothing to do with Trump's one-time comment about women.
