    Default Desert eagle L5

For some reason I really want an L5. I have shot the fifty in the past it was cool but not something I would want to own. Does any one here own one of the L5's, how do you like it and let me know if you ever wanna hit the range.

20 Years ago I bought 2 desert eagles in an estate sale (divorce). One in 44mag and one in 357mag. When I went to sell them nobody wanted the 357 and i ended up trading it to a another dealer for something else. The 357 only full functions reliably will full house 158 grain magnum loads in my experience.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

One of my early firearm I purchased was denser eagle mk1 357mag.
That thing is very picky on ammo. Even American Eagle 158gr would not sometimes fully cycle.
It was a fun gun, but I wanted something more reliable.
I sold that thing and bought a USP Tactical when it came out.

You could try one as a rental gun at one of the local ranges.
