Default ideas for suppressed 9mm or 45 acp carbines?

ive got an osprey 45k on order and already got threaded barrels for a couple of pistols. (also thinking of using it on 9mm but ill probably end up with a dedicated 9mm) and started thinking of a carbine type. it can either be a rifle or pistol (with the idea of going to an sbr later down the line).

my first thought was a thompson, but after handling the new ones i was not that big of a fan.
then thought of an mp5 clone, but im not sure about quality among the different clones and parts are pretty expensive (uzi clones would probably fit here as well)
the sig carbines dont have much in the way of support and they havent sorted out a lot of development issues
i looked at the b&t, and have heard good things about them, but i dont know about spending 2000+ for a plastic gun (hk usc probably fits in this category)
I just dont like how the beretta carbines look - fun to shoot but i think its similar to riding a moped
currently, im leaning towards the cz's with my other option an ar build

what other choices are there, anyone have any recommendations? thanks -

My JRC is set up to run both 9mm & 45 glock mags. Factory threaded with ambi operation features. You're welcome to come up and road test it open & suppressed.
It's sitting in the safe, you like it enough, i'd part with it

The options are really unlimited. People tend to like what they have, but not everything out there is going to be durable long term, especially in the AR9 category. PCCs are a ton of fun and suppressed is even funner.

Just FYI, I found 14 new to market 9mm PCCs at SHOT, and I am sure I missed a few. Working on a comprehensive video on the subject that will be out in April. Intended use, to me, tends to drive the discussion. HD, Competition, Truck gun, and other uses may end up with different configurations. Budget is also a consideration for the host gun...$270 to $2500 is about the range.

People seem to think pretty highly of the Zenith MP5 clones if a faux MP5 is what you want. Though if I wanted something more modern, the CZ Scorpion and Sig MPX would be where I'd look.
The advantage of the AR platform is that it is cheap and infinitely reconfigurable. You could build a base gun for $1K or less. If you hated it, there is a ready market for all the parts involved, or you could recycle them into another build.

The Osprey is a great can (I own one), but it does somewhat limit your configuration options on an AR, as it will not fit under a handguard.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

I love the MP5 but I'm a snob and stick to the German ones. MPX is awesome! I like my QC10 in 45 but have had a hard time getting it to chamber reliably. (should probably start a thread about that)

Izzy, are you loading the rounds as long as possible? If not, try that.

All factory ammo. I'll start a new thread with pictures and everything. Don't want to hijack this one.

To clarify I don't have an intended use, just think it would be fun.

A pcc in 45 just sounds fun. Throw on some wood furniture and give it a Thompson look.
