This particular event made the news but Telegraph and/or Shattuck get shut down at least twice a month and have for that past 50 years due to protests in Berkeley. This isn't unusual there.

If there isn't any newsworthy event to protest, they'll protest because of the lack of newsworthy events. Seriously.
