We tried that, but apparently Colorado gun owners are too lazy to sign the damn thing when it was sitting on the counters of most gun shops.

I rarely find myself in a gun shop. I'm sure that's the case for a lot of folks.

I signed along with every gun owner I know. Including a few that didn't know they loved freedom as much as slavery.

I would write to my elected senator, except she was one of the two "No" votes for it to get moved to committee. For the time being I live in Looney Liberal land... that will hopefully change very soon. I am happy it's being introduced, but even if it makes it out of the State, Veteran's and Military Affairs Committee (which it should seeing as how that's a 5-2 republican majority committee), and passed the Senate, and House, it'll never get signed by Chickenpooper. Good for them for introducing it, but at this point it's destined to die.

But didn't Chickenpooper go one record saying that if it passes through the house and Senate - that is what they want, so it's his duty to sign it?

Gun owners are lazy ... gun rights activists are disorganized and ineffectual ... lots of blame to go around.
