Anyone have any data on the difference in way of FPS/Stopping energy?

I've never used them, but as far as ballistics (on paper) go, their slug sends a 25 gram (385 grain) chunk of lead at 1200 fps, whereas the Federal tactical (which is what I prefer) sends a 1oz (438 grain) slug at 1300 fps. So ballistically they aren't bad, and would certainly put the hurting on someone. Like has been said, none of this really matters if they don't function in your shotgun.

Default Mini shells vs full size

For what they produce in recoil, I see them as worthwhile.

Ran a few boxes of them with this

    https://www.amazon.com/OPSol-Mini-Clip/dp/B01F5REBUM

Which gave 100% during function/cycle testing.

This shows +14" penetration in gel AFTER wall pass through. So, just like any #4 or larger buckshot load, these will do just fine in bad guy, with potential for over-penetration.

    -edit-
The birdshot is worthless for anything more than 5yds away. You might kill a snake with it, or seriously piss off something like a raccoon.

Ark tactical has these adaptors and the Aguila shorts in stock in case you are interested in trying the short shell out.

Ballistically, the slug and buck is very similar to 2 3/4" reduced power slugs and buck. They run in some guns, some of the Winchesters, the SXP, P12 without mods. From what I have been told, also in the KSGs. If 385 grains at 1200 is a toy...someone has some splainin' to do.

The birdshot has little if any use other than close range plinking. Terrible patterns with holes.

Bird shot is very dangerous, in theory of stopping real threats. Buck shot works great and so do slugs. Think of the theory of using bird shot; some pellets do not penetrate feathers though. For self defense purposes use full house loads and beware of your surroundings and over penetration. When in need 00 buck does amazing things and has been proven again and again.

I've run the Aguila minis in a few Winchester 1200 and 1300s They are fantastic for a home defense gun. Low recoil and a ton of shots. I think I can get 12 or 13 in an 8 shot defender. Winchesters I had fed with no adapters.
